Privacy Policy for Creavi Booking Service

Last updated: 27.08.25

Creavi ApS (“Creavi”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) operates the Creavi Booking Service plugin and the backend service hosted at osecu.creavi.dk.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our booking service and Google Calendar integration.

1. Information We Collect

When you use a website that has the Creavi Booking Service plugin installed, we may process the following information:

  • Booking details: your name, email address, selected service, booking date and time, and optional comments or custom form fields.

  • Calendar data: with your permission, we create calendar events in your connected Google Calendar.

  • Technical information: anonymized logs for debugging and performance (e.g., request times, errors).

We do not request or store your Google account password. Authentication is handled by Google’s secure OAuth 2.0 system.

2. How We Use Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

  • To create and manage bookings on behalf of the website you are using.

  • To insert booking events into your connected Google Calendar (if you choose to connect).

  • To send booking confirmation emails to you and the service provider.

  • To maintain service security and improve performance.

3. Data Sharing

  • With Google: When you connect your Google Calendar, we securely send event details (time, service name, attendees) to Google via the official Google Calendar API.

  • With service providers: The website where you make a booking will receive your booking details in order to deliver the service you requested.

  • With no one else: We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Data Retention

  • Booking details are stored by the website owner (the service provider) for as long as necessary to provide the booked service.

  • We do not permanently store your Google Calendar data on our servers. We only transmit event data at the time of booking.

  • Connection information (OAuth tokens) is stored securely on our backend to maintain the calendar connection and can be revoked at any time.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Disconnect Google Calendar at any time using the “Disconnect” button inside the plugin settings.

  • Request correction or deletion of your booking data by contacting the website owner where you booked.

  • Revoke access to your Google Calendar from your Google Account Permissions.

6. Security

We implement technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including:

  • Encrypted connections (HTTPS).

  • Secure token handling via OAuth 2.0.

  • Limited access to backend systems.

7. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
